NewTek, Inc. is a San Antonio, Texas–based hardware and software company that produces live and post-production video tools and visual imaging software for personal computers. The company was founded in 1985 in Topeka, Kansas, U.S., by Tim Jenison and Paul Montgomery. The company's first products included DigiView in 1986^[4] and DigiPaint, both for the Commodore Amiga personal computer. Later came a complete 3D modeling, rendering and animation system called LightWave 3D (LigtWave 3D on WikiPedia.org). According to the company NewTek, Inc DigiView sold much more than 100,000 units.
